Men of Hospitality

Men at Work

From Evernote:

Men of Hospitality

While it may appear to be often associated with a feminine trait, the events and opportunities of recent weeks have proved once again that hospitality as with many other biblical qualifications for successful leadership, deserves our interest and attention when preparing younger men for marriage, family, and church leadership.

Becoming hospitable men means being responsible in our livelihoods as we become dependable in others’ time of need. The men at Bethel have been called upon most recently to assist in the lives of widows and those displaced by disaster and circumstances beyond there control and they have proved themselves faithful and selfless in putting the needs of others before their own

I hear the words of the God’s Apostle of grace as he says,

He who steals must steal no longer, but rather he must labor, performing with his own hands what is good, so that he will have something to share with one who has need…

And the the Apostle Peter notes,

Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without complaint.

~That’s real men at work~
